New Arrivals!
18th of October Sunday 2021.
The day had finally come to when my cat, Nala had finally moven into the last and final step of her 2 month pregnancy, Delivery. This day was truly a blessed day for my mother as she had always wanted to be a Grand Mother but never got the chance to because my elder sister (Mii) was not yet ready to fulfill that duty yet.
And yes, It is quite funny that she was yet to be a Grand Mother to fury & fluffy kittens but she didn't mind, and yes, after the whole lock down pandemic we are yet to spade Nala.
I had been the luckiest one out of both me and my mum and was there at the exact place and time it had taken place.
I woke up around 9:30am and had heard little meows, very desprate meows.
At first I thought it was an illusion because I had never thought my cat would be pregnant (AKA: I thought she was just fat this whole time, But apparently not) but as I flipped the cover of my blanket over there laid two born kits, And let me just say I was shocked and after seeing that my fantasies about my cat being fat was no longer a way I had repeatedly dialed every family member in my house hold to come home at that instant.
As my sister had rushed into the house with her boyfriend (Ranui) the panic in my system had finally died down as we waited painfully for this quick delivery to end.
At around 12:15am Nala had successfully delivered 5 kittens.
1 being a female (The eldest) of a litter of 4 boys and 1 being a Ginger kit the third born of the litter.
My mum had been so happy to have new arrivals added to our family of 5 (household) and immediately engulfed the babies as soon as she saw them.
We were so proud of Nala as she had reached the milestone of finally being a mother.
Exciting to have some additional members to your household Jarreka, I'm sure they will keep you busy for the next couple of months. Kittens are just the cutest to play and cuddle with. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to getting another glimpse of them during our next google meet.
