Road through death & memories

The  Road Through Death & Memories

-------------

Dark clouds increased the  speed of the spread throughout the sky, as the mist grew to the extent of covering the area like wildfire.

A dark carriage that smelt like death itself approached the border of the land as a dark bulky like figure came into vision,

He nodded,

I took one last glance at my childhood and last home before entering the dark dreadful carriage.

The carriage took off like a ghost rider.

A flash came in contact with my eyelids as I closed them slightly,

I took a deep breath,

I then opened my eyes revealing a small town ahead.

My home land, We passed my childhood kindergarten, My first memory of the time i spent there soon appeared.

A child ran across the road as he said his goodbyes to his mother. That child was me.

He entered the gates of pleasing and everlasting fun, A miniature figure then approached the boy and smiled with crescents glistening in her eyes,

“Hello! I’m amarie! You?”

The boy took a good look at the girl before placing a soft bunny like smile across his face,

“I’m Drake! It’s nice to meet you amarie!”

She giggled and looked around,

“Well, Do you have any friends?”

I shook my head in disappointment,She frowned but then replaced the frown with a giddy like posture,

“Would you like to be my friend drake?”

I gasped and giggled along with her,

“Sure!”

The memory of my first mate soon faded,

I turned to look  to my left,

A memory of myself and Amarie came back to me.

“What? What’s wrong? Is there something on my face?”

I  chuckled deeply and intertwined our fingers connecting us together sending a soft pink  blush across her cheeks,

“Of course not love, Your just breathtakingly beautiful in my eyes”

At this time,

We were already planning our love life together,

We exchanged loving  looks under the dark night  sky.

Soon, Smoke covered up that special night we shared together.

The carriage soon became airborne as I took a good look underneath the dark night ride,

The water moved swiftly as it soon faded into another memory.

My father held my hand,

I was around my 30’s already expecting a child from amarie’s belly to appear in my arms,

My father was also in hospital for personal reasons,

“Dad..”

He weakly smiled,

“Son, i’ll be alright, It’s just a little scratch”

“A severe scratch dad”

He sighed and placed a soft peck upon my knuckles,

“I can’t wait to see my grandson”

I smiled meekly at him, Taking in his facial expression that showed pure  affection towards me.

The carriage soon took off into the dark clouds of the night.

Memories soon played,

And played,

And replayed,

Over…

And over again…

It was an endless ride through death & memories.
